If you don't think there is 'A Deep State' , please read this story.

If you google the words 'Bush Hitler Guardian' ... you will see the story in the British newspaper The Guardian talking about how very powerful American interests were funnelling money into Germany in the 1920s and early 1930's to help bring the Nazi Party and Adolph Hitler, to power.
Mr. Prescott Bush was a director of Union Bank, which was used to move money into Germany to help the Nazis when they were still a small fringe party. Money is important to make things happen, and the Nazis got money from Corporate America and etc. After the United States entered World War 2, the Union Bank was shut down by the U.S. government.
But for some strange reason, Prescott Bush's name was kept completely hidden from the American people. His actions in assisting the Nazis to come to power in Germany were kept secret by the corporate media of the day and by the politicians as well. A few years after the war ended, in 1952, Mr. Bush was elected to the U.S. Senate from Connecticut. Can you imagine him being elected to the Senate if the American people knew that he was involved in helping the Nazis come to power in Germany? So clearly, a decision was made at a very high level to keep Mr. Bush's involvement with the Nazis out of the news completely and totally. And imagine the power it takes to make that kind of thing happen ... for almost a hundred years now. Virtual total silence from the North American Media, the political world, public education, the universities, and etc. To me this is just one more example of the power of the deep state to hide things that it wants to keep hidden.
Prescott Bush was the father of President George H.W. Bush and the grandfather of President George W. Bush who was president during the 9/11 years. And yet through their presidencies, the media kept secret the fact that their father and grandfather had been involved with bringing the Nazis to power in Germany.
And that's what I mean by The Deep State. It certainly seems that there is a decision-making body in many countries that is 'above our governments'. I certainly think this is true in Canada. And I think those powerful groups that 'really' run things are "corporate". That is, they involve big business and the .01% families that are at the top of the economic ladder in countries around the world. And they have the power to keep certain important facts 'well hidden' when they want to do so. And they also seem to have the power to convince us that 'up is down' and 'black is white' when they want to do that.
The Prescott Bush story is one example of this. This story was kept hidden through two Bush Presidencies, and through Mr. Prescott Bush's election to the U.S. Senate back in 1952, just ten years after his bank was shut down for 'trading with the Nazis'. Just imagine the power needed to make that happen.
I would say that here in Canada, the housing crisis is a similar thing; also showing the imprint of 'the deep state. Fortunes have been made from the housing crisis; millions of Canadians are paying back-breaking rents and mortgages, and much of that money is flowing to the banksters and investors and financiers who run Canada. This whole housing disaster (including the homelessness nightmare) never needed to happen - it happened only because there was money to be made. And a LOT of money has been made. I don't think Canadians have ever voted to create a housing disaster in our country so that the banks and the investors could make fortunes. But we Canadians are irrelevant when it comes to making these kinds of decisions.
That's how the deep state operates, and we had better start to deal with it pretty soon, because things will not get better in Canada until we do.
