WHY I THINK THERE IS A 'DEEP STATE'

Here’s a story that makes me think the Deep State does exist — and is extremely powerful. And evil.
If you Google the words "Bush, Hitler Guardian", you’ll find a 2004 story in the British newspaper The Guardian about how American money, from some of the most prominent families in the United States, was funneled into Germany in the 1920s and early 1930s to support Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party — and bring them to power.
One of the routes that money took was through Union Bank, and one of the people involved in moving money to the Nazis was Prescott Bush, the father and grandfather of the two Bush presidents. At the time, Mr. Bush was working for a very prominent company called Brown Brothers Harriman.
And yet, this story was kept so secret that just a few years after the war, Prescott Bush was elected to the U.S. Senate. So it’s pretty clear that the media of the day was able to totally hide his involvement with the Nazis. The corporation Brown Brothers Harriman still exists. Prescott Bush’s son and grandson both became U.S. presidents — and yet the story of how the Bush family was involved in funneling money to the Nazis is still an almost total secret across North America.
And to me... that is evidence of the existence of the Deep State:
A group of very powerful people, who have the power to start wars, and the power to keep secrets — even for generations.
Never talked about by ‘the media’ or the politicians.
And I think they are doing the exact same kinds of things today:
Never-ending wars
GMOs in our food supply
9/11 and all the wars that came from that
The growing wealth of the rich, matched by the growing poverty of so many others
The assassinations of President Kennedy, his brother Bobby, Martin Luther King... and on and on.
I fully believe that there is a Deep State, and it sits above our so-called democratic governments and controls them, and it controls the big North American media as well.
Stories like this one are called Conspiracy Theories — and ignored by the good and well-meaning people who trust that we really do have a great democracy and a free press.
But I don’t think we have either of those two things.
What we have instead is The Deep State, and it’s time we got rid of it — because it is destroying our society, our economy, and our planet.
