THE HOUSING CRISIS IS BEING USED TO STEAL BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM CANADIANS

... and their money is going to the banks, and the 1%.  

Canada has seen the deliberate creation of a housing disaster with rents and mortgage payments skyrocketing.   This is a huge transfer of wealth AWAY from working and poorer Canadians - with a lot of that money going to The Banks, Big Business and The Rich.  And this was done to us deliberately by our governments and by the housing industry. 

And it was easy for them to do.  They simply created a shortage of housing in Canada; and of course the shortage of housing pushed up rents and pushed up prices and mortgage payments.  The entire housing crisis is a vicious scam that has hurt millions of Canadians, but made the 1% a LOT richer.  And THAT is what the housing crisis has been about from Day One. 

And this has been done with the full support of all our top politicians AND the Big Media.

Entities that benefit from Canada's housing crisis include 

landlords of market-rate housing, real estate investors, and developers, as well as banks and real estate agencies that profit from high prices and commissions

. Governments also benefit financially from property taxes and fees linked to high real estate values. ..... corporations, like real estate investment trusts (REITs), profit from increased activity and investment in the sector.
