IS THE ALBERTA SEPARATION STORY A 'FALSE FLAG OPERATION'
.... to distract us and divide us while the corporations continue to steal and destroy everything??
(August 6, 2025): Record Oil Production in Alberta: Albertans want to separate from Canada because Canada is strangling their oil and gas industry and they want fair treatment. And who can blame them for that? That's basically the story that Albertans and Canadians are being told by our media and politicians. The story is that times are difficult in Alberta, and Canada is to blame, and the result is a growing 'separation movement' in Alberta.
But here are some facts, and you decide if we are being told the truth about Alberta's Problems. For example, according to Statistics Canada, oil production in Canada and Alberta has hit new record highs in each of the past four years. Well that doesn't sound too bad for Alberta. And AI Overview says that Alberta had 'record-breaking oil production in 2024. And the month of November, 2023 saw 'a historic high of 4.2 million barrels a day'. So that doesn't sound too bad. And also according to AI Overview, Alberta oil companies have seen record profits in recent years.
But AI Overview also says ... ordinary Albertans haven't necessarily seen a corresponding benefit in terms of jobs or income. So we have record oil production in Alberta, plus record oil company profits in Alberta, plus tens of thousands of lost jobs in Alberta .... and the result is that we are told that Albertans should want to separate from Canada. Well I wish that Alberta WOULD separate, but not from Canada. I wish they would be able to separate themselves from the Corporate Run Oil Industry that has been poisoning and screwing Albertans for decades. Big Oil runs Alberta. And they have stolen hundreds of billions of dollars from Albertans and Canadians. So maybe Big Oil is the real problem - not Canada.
But Corporate Canada owns all the big media in Canada, and controls all our top politicians and all our governments ... so the truth about the oil industry is not told to us. Because if they did tell us the truth, maybe we'd want to cut back on oil industry profits and spread those profits around with the people of Alberta. But nobody at the top wants that. So instead they tell us stories designed to get us angry at each other and fighting each other, while they laugh all the way to the banks. Which they also own. And that is how Canada is really run these days; that is how our corporate rulers treat us.
And to me the real question is ... how much longer are we going to put up with this destructive behavior from Corporate Canada before we start to fight back and start to take our country back from them? We need a Canada that works for Canadians; but what we've got is a nation increasingly run by a .01% elite who don't give a damn about the rest of us, but have so much power that we can't stop them or even slow them down as they steal from the rest of us and wreck our nation.
The only solution I see is for us Canadians to have more democracy. We need governments that work a little bit more for us, the people. And work a little bit less for them, the .01% Corporate Elite that already has for too much power and far too much wealth. I think that every little bit of democracy we can grab hold of will benefit 'us' a lot. If we can get some more democracy in Canada we will start to see immediate improvements in our communities and in our society and in our lives. For example, did we ever vote to have the housing disaster that Corporate Canada has done to us? No, we never voted for that but they did it to us because they are the ones who benefit from the high mortgages and high rents being paid by millions of Canadians. The housing disaster is really just outright theft. And they did the housing disaster to us just like they are now doing Alberta Separation to us. For their own benefit. And if we don't stop them, it is only going to get worse....
